Is it true that being muscular doesn't necessarily mean you can fight?
Look at Stephen Thompson:
Obviously, he’s in great shape, but he’s not a super muscular guy. And yet he would kick your ass.
On the other hand, we have Bob Sapp:
Now he is one big guy. And yet he is arguably one of the wimpiest fighters in MMA. In his whole MMA career, he has tapped out to punches at least 4 times.
For those who don’t know, in MMA you generally tap out (submit) when you believe you’re about to come to serious harm, such as when being choked out. Tapping out to punches is the equivalent of refusing to play football, because you have a headache.
Not only this, but he has literally cried in the ring after losing, again on multiple occasions.
So, no. Just because you’re muscular does not mean you can fight.
